How TACTIC works

The TACTIC™ solution tracks every aspect of every asset. Even the most complex interdependencies and associations within assets are tracked and stored, with no need to worry about where files are saved or what they are named.

The TACTIC user interface and its API (Application Programmer Interface) are built on web technologies, with a web server accessing a back-end database. The user interface is tailored for individual users, who can access the views, data management and reports they need.

• Minimum hardware: dual core, 4 GB memory, 100 GB HDD (assets should be stored elsewhere on an enterprise-quality, high-availability server Note: of the total 100 GB, TACTIC only needs about 10 GB to run on.

• Browsers: any major browser, including Mozilla Firefox 3+, Internet Explorer 7+

• API support: Python 2.5/2.6 or Javascript
